I feel like the whole thing would need to involve building some kind of home value guarantee fund (to try to help those who have purchased at these ludicrous prices) then to legislatively just pierce that bubble. But that’d require smart leadership and a LOT of tax dollars.

Last minute I was offered an (excellent) free ticket to tonight’s game, but declined since it was my DnD group’s last session for the summer. But then my tech crashed and I couldn’t play at all. Ended up just muttering to myself most of the night.

Absolutely! In related news, the St Lawrence Community centre a/c has been broken for about 3 years, with an expected fix date of fall 2026… and that system is also supposed to be cooling the attached school… where our students absolutely roast, with zero cooling spaces. Criminal!
