Today would usually be a stream day! But I honestly feel so deflated from the past couple of days that I'm going to take it to rest instead

I wanted to plan something fun and Halloween related but there's always next year...

He is stable for now but has lost his back leg. We’re hoping recovery from now is less eventful 💙

He is kept on a leash whenever on a walk and just happened to dart out when the house door was opened for a second. First time he has ever done this and trained not to do so, so we believe he must have been startled by something 😔

3 legged now! But hopefully ok other than that

He’s looking stable at the moment. Still at the vets so we’ll see what overnight brings 💙

We’re unsure of the exact vet bills so far but I’m inclined to think id feel too guilty to set one up when there are others in need. But thank you 💙

He bolted out of the house when the door was open for a second. Made it to the main road, and… yeah.

Usually on walks and any other time he’d be on a lead

Thank you everyone for your support so far - I’ve been a bit of a mess today and having to work so have not been able to respond

Monty has been sedated and scanned and it turns out the damage to his knee is worse than we thought. It will likely require amputation.

He’s alive luckily but has suffered some pretty serious breaks requiring surgery… and I’m just hoping there are no complications due to his age
