When Virgin publishing purchased WH Allen, the hardcover books were losing money. In June, 1988 it was decided to stop publishing cloth bound Dr. Who books. Joining me is Tony Whitt, host and producer of The Target Book Club Podcast. Keep Collecting!

Doctor, Jon Pertwee, has been released on Vinyl and CD. Included on this collection is Jon Pertwee reading “The Curse of Peladon” and “Planet of the Daleks”. “Who is the Doctor?” single from 1972, and bonus audio of archive items. I present my review of this collection of my favorite Doctor!

After finding a 1981 Catalog from the "Time Lord, Inc" of Brooklyn, NY owned by Ed Novak, I now have a new list of classic hardcover (Wingate and WH Allen) books sold in the USA in 1981. #doctorwho

My latest acquisitions, including one of the most sought after hardcovers. This hardcover I have seen in worse condition going for over $600 or more. I can’t imagine what a mint copy would go for but I’m happy to have it in the collection which completes my 1981 hardcovers.
