The outcome would eliminate jobs, push down wages, worsen conditions for all entertainment workers, raise prices for consumers, and reduce the volume and diversity of content for all viewers. Read a tribute to a recently deceased legend in the film industry that used language about fighting cancer & their battle with cancer. Can we pls stop with this fight mentality? When you call it a battle or imply that a fight was lost, you insult their memory & give the disease that killed them the upper hand as victor. Of course, they're tough & fighting but let's just focus on who they were & the great things they did. Give them the dignity of just saying they died. Cancer doesn't need to win.
