btw i love C and i disagree with everyone who doesn't love C, but language designers really need to pay attention to array languages, there are so many interesting concepts that go unexplored like: "functions are things" or "this for loop could have been a fold"

the only interesting thing i did during uni break was learning APL and it single-handedly rekindled my love for programming. as a programming language it really emphasizes manipulating bunches of data at once (which is what computers were meant to do!!!) over moving values with tweezers like C does
