No other artist's work has been a fixture in my life for as long as David Lynch's has. I fell in love with it as a teenager and it has been a recurring obsession and a part of my life ever since. It feels wrong that he's gone.

The Lakeview Hotel in particular might be one of my favorite game locations ever. I mean, look at it.

The sense of place in the Silent Hill 2 Remake is something else. Despite the surrealism and the emptiness, these places feel incredibly real and alive.
