It’s a new poster! This time it’s #king from #tekken
I drew inspiration from the physicality and style of King’s mo-cap actor and professional wrestler, Minoru Suzuki.
This was a fun producer to research and I don’t think the final product was TOO far off the mark.

given 1 at most to release a game with massive scope and barely any room to rest, i imagine the same thing with happen in the industry if they adopted this kind of release schedules, 5 years is too much downtime for them, gotta get that bag asap

not to make everything about me but this kind of happens with videogames since you can't really release a game in parts (well you CAN, see: how most season passes and DLC r handled) but the norm is releasing it full but they still manage to overload the artists with work, instead of 5 years they are

i think about this shit way more often than i should

the fact that improvement hacks are so popular, on top of emulation features like speed up are so wildly used and acceptable, kind of just tells me the world isn't ready to properly acknowledge games as art. the minute things as mentioned above are *inherently* problems and not intentional

i thought it was already established most people cannot view games as art, or at least art first, unless the elements in question that are being analyzed are akin to what's already present in other mediums (visuals, music, story). and even then, gameplay still isn't properly treated as art
