Finally got my staples taken out today, 3 weeks after my back surgery for my sciatica. I’m so excited to take a proper shower tonight. Still get really sore if I sit, stand, or lay down for too long - but I haven’t have any leg pain or numbness since I woke up from the anesthesia!

Sciatica surgery post-op appointment today - getting my staples taken out!

Just got a subscription to the NightFlight streaming app. Tons of B movies, lots of horror and music documentaries. Seems right up my alley.

I did all that as well. Multiple rounds of meds, chiropractic, physical therapy, epidural injections…. Don’t give up on pushing your doctors!

I've had bad sciatica for 3.5 or 4 years. Slowly got worse until I haven't been able to walk more than 10 min without throbbing leg pain and foot numbness . After the procedure I've been walking around the apartment quite a bit and other than surgery related soreness - all pain is gone. Crazy!

I’ve been looking forward to it for about year. So happy it’s finally done. I have some pain at the incision point but no nerve pain!

Slowly progressing sciatica over the last 3-4 years. No clear cause for it - except I have a conjoined nerve at that location that is making the compression worse.
