The window for cancelling a Dropout subscription. It includes various options like "Subscription price is too high". "Other" is ticked, and the text field beneath it reads: "The collaboration with The Rookie is just too far for me. I purchased a subscription because I thought I was contributing to indie media, but compromising that for network television, and not just any network television, but specifically a cop procedural, is just not what I subscribed for. It calls into question basically every time cast members or the company itself has made a left-leaning political comment or joke, because those perspectives clearly aren't making the business decisions. I don't know what it would take to earn my trust back, because this behavior is so out of line with a company that once offered merchandise that describes cops as an occupying army. The only explanation that makes sense is that Dropout thinks its customers are marks, and progressive language and appearing inclusive and leftish politically is how it can attract those marks. That makes me feel like an idiot for ever giving you folks my money, and for getting excited at comedians and performers talking and sounding like people who give a shit, because that care and concern does not extend to what kind of business and work you're willing to do."

i'm cancelling my #dropout subscription in light of their collaboration with abc's the rookie, a police procedural with the explicit goal of legitimizing the LAPD.
