Finally finished this! I made it using lightweight polymer clay. The fiery shield is fully removable and I plan on making more divine instruments to switch out

Try some anatomy studies! Drawing people is hard, and drawing proportions that don’t exist is even harder. Studying the separate parts first can help. I have a board full of organized references you can use. Character design section has some furries I believe

Absolutely! Art exists in many forms. Some may not consider diagrams of signal transduction pathways in cells to be art, but there’s art in how it’s laid out and how easy it is to read. There’s art in good communication of knowledge. Any form of communication between people is art, even math

You’ve made some amazing progress!! I’ve been drawing seriously for 9 years. Went from traditional to digital and back to traditional recently. Definitely one hell of a learning curve. Trying to achieve texture in digital is still somewhat of a mystery to me. I just mess with it until I get it lmao

I’ll definitely look into those classes once winter break starts! Do I need to worry about the polymer clay cracking in the oven? I was experiencing a lot of cracks around the joints of my Toothless sculpture and had to close them with acrylic paint
