This image shows a painting I recently did. A stylized portrait of a woman. The colours are bold and vibrant. She has purple hair flowing upwards and a matching purple top to balance the piece. Her eyes are violet to match. She has three yellow sunflowers around her, one in her hair, one on her shoulder and a third in the background beside her. The background is turquoise and she has a turquoise band around the neckline of her top. This style is very neat and clean and not my usual style. In the image there are also some art supplies shown.

I've been quiet on the SocMeds for a bit, quiet in my art practice too. I did this piece a few weeks ago (for Moonshine 2025, Effy Wild's art witchery course). I love her, but she's a bit too neat for me; I like grungy, messy, painterly. But, she's how she wanted to be and that's that lol.

Wow! The detail in her head scarf is amazing!

On a green background is a monochrome bear. Simple and stylised, not realistic. On the bear, to the lower left of the image, are white dots and gold splatters. On the opposite side, higher up on the bears shoulder are some white dots. The bear is outlined in white. She has a gold crown above her head. On the right, from her ear to her shoulder is printed in black the word "Sovereign"

Pulled the "sovereign" card from a prompt deck. Took 5 mins free writing then went to my mini Goddess art journal. Bear showed up, which for me is always a connection to the Bear Goddess Artio.

Then drawn over again in black paint pen to darken the outline. Bright yellow and black dots pattern her wings. Black and white dots around her face. She has a pair of antlers on her head, (I know, it's my thing). Between her antlers is a bright yellow crown. Down the side of the owl is Stamped the word "Queen". There is white scribbled journaling down the right side of the page. Also in the image on the left are the pink and yellow paint pens used.

Yesterday, my witchy walk with @legoblingorlarts.bsky.social had us admiring pink blossoms on the way to the village and chatting with Robins in the cemetery. Today they are in my mini Nature Goddess art journal.
