Her owner didn’t take her outside or on walks as she said she’s ’s too big (65 lb) 🤬 she’d never been in a car. They had the police bring her to ACC where she arrived understandably scared

The shelter is a scary place for a dog that’s never been out

Oh yes, I meant ACC should always have a video for a dog At Risk. I realize — I learned —that volunteers often aren’t given access to very scared dogs, the ones that might need them most. And sadly, that likely makes sense most times

@thescoopnewyork.com knows, an Animal Welfare Caucus is a sham if it doesn’t stop the killing. Shelter Animal Rescue Act #SARA would mandate dogs 2B killed are offered to a qualified rescue org first
