🟢 A much better performance from our Reserves today, despite a 4-2 defeat against a strong Mossley Hill U23s. Adam Harding and Zack Parker on the scoresheet for us.
🟢 The Youth Team went down 3-1 against Athletico Blues, hard going at the moment but plenty of positives 👏

Jay Lee with a fine finish after a lung-busting run, Jay Ando with a trademark free kick and Kenny with some wizardry to seal the win.

🟢 A much needed win for our Firsts this afternoon, after what has been a tough month.
1-0 down within a couple of minutes, we showed real character to draw level by the break.
Little to separate the two teams overall, a couple of superb goals at the end secured us the 3 points

🏆 It’s West Cheshire League Cup Saturday for @helsbyfc.bsky.social, and the opposition doesn’t get much tougher for our two senior sides:
🟢 Firsts host current holders Mossley Hill Athletic, who have won the Pyke Cup for the past 4 seasons (3pm)
🟢 Reserves travel to Mallaby in the Bowl (3.30pm)

🟢 We’re going through a tough spell at present, plenty to digest and improve on.
🟢 Our starting 11 had only one player over 22 years old, so it’s a tough learning curve for the lads.
👏 Our MOM today was Callum Prince; excellent again at right back at just 17, well done Cal
