Last year, my record player since 1978 finally gave up. I'm all CDs now.

I lost 1/2 my hearing at that time. I kind of gave up.

My Red LP cover was destroyed in a hurricane 2004. I ended up giving most of my 'coverless' albums away. The 04-05 hurricane seasons in Tampa was torture.

My mom was born in 1934. Her father was an opera singer. She told me about the Kinks (Lola) after going to a party. I turned her onto Queen and the Moody Blues. Her favorite song was Legend of a Mind (Timothy Leary's Dead). She did join an opera club when she retired.
