Gaura, also known as beeblossom has pink petals and long white stamens. It sways in the breeze and some people call it whirling butterflies. The foliage is green, but the emergent buds are a lovely magenta.

It is more purplish than CW...the squirrels stole the tag of course. I believe it is either Einstein or Edison 🤷‍♀️
