Go Birds!

I have never seen the show but went to see the movie and loved it. I am sure there were things I missed but I spent pretty much the whole film smiling and laughing.

I will be pre-odering from Audible when it is available.

Awards for art is silly. I still love watching the Oscars even though my favorite film from the year may not win. It is subjective vs objective judgement. I loved One Battle After Another but still need to see Sentimental Value and many others from 2025.

From earlier today. 2pm show. My 2nd time seeing Ragtime on Broadway. I saw it in 1999 with some college friends The next day I asked one of them out. We have been together ever since. This time we brought our 4 kids to see the show.

That day can't come soon enough.

We bought our first home in 2003 sold at the very end of 2007. At the end of 2013 we bought our current home. Looks like I timed the market pretty well even though I didn't know anything back then. LOL!

Sadly studios will just use AI with a prompt "create a movie poster in the style of Drew Struzan with these images." Such a loss. Drew's images were iconic.

One Battle After Another. Wow!! I am PTA fan so I may be a little biased but this film is excellent and so relevant to what is going on right now.

Just got home from an IMAX screening. Such an incredible film. I got emotional several times being a father and how relevant the film is right now. It will be a hard film to beat for best picture as it speaks to our current times.

With a potential Paramount & WB merger Last Week Tonight will be gone also.

Don’t think we are there yet, but close. When Trump starts locking up parents of children that are under gender affirming care then we will be there. The hospital my child receives care from has been subpoenaed. They are refusing to comply but this shouldn’t even be happening.

It was very briefly in theaters around me outside of Philly. I missed it then but really enjoyed watching it with my wife a couple weeks ago on Peacock. One of the best films of the year.

I am really excited to see this but also a little scared. Considering all the good memories from the time our lives crossed paths for many years I don't expect to make through the film with dry eyes. It opens around me on the 13th but will be catching a screening on the 12th.

I am excited! I pretty much go to a movie every Thursday night to catch something releasing that weekend. There have been a couple weeks this year where 2 movies are coming out that I want to see. Sadly I can only squeeze one trip a week to the theater with the stage of life I am in.

I love catching a movie when everyone claps during the climax and when the credit roll. So many films coming out these day are based off of existing IP, so I am thankful WB let Ryan Coogler cook.

I own The Accountant on 4K Blu-Ray. I really need to sit down and watch it.

Not sure if it is streaming. I have the blu-ray though. I may have to go back and revisit it soon.

I haven't watch Traffic for years but loved Black Bag.

Funny thing we went to a church that had "Everyone is welcome here" on their wall but then spoke out against LGBTQIA+. We left that church.

The Master would be great to get in 4k. I was able to see it in 70mm at the Cinerama Dome when I lived in LA.

I really enjoyed it but I also really liked several other best picture nominees this year. It is pretty much between Anora, Conclave or The Brutalist this year. All 3 were excellent. I usually have a favorite before the Oscars but it is hard to choose.
