Our feature artist/ref today is on FORESHORTENING ARMS by @ruchikapose! The MID-POINT of the arm ( here marked with WHITE bands) SHIFTS BACK VISUALLY when foreshortening - combined with the OVERLAP caused by the WIDTH of the upper forearm, we see VERY LITTLE of the UPPER ARM!

This is one of the biggest drawings I've ever committed to, I could have done better, but its taken more than a month and I want to move on to other project ideas. I'm still super proud, and I've made improvements and lessons about Krita & my workflow I'll put to use next time.

Hi all, It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry I haven't been exactly active in recent months. Most of the time I've been busy at work, as it's been understaffed for months, and working so much has burnt me out I haven't had the motivation to do any art. Earlier today, we got told by HR that our store is closing. They gave us a week of notice. I don't have another job, and it's too soon before my trip to find something else. I still have a surgery to pay for later in the year and my current savings are nowhere near enough to cover everything until then. It's been stressful. I haven't had a break since February, and all of this is just the cherry on top of my misfortunes. TL;DR: I've lost my job, and don't have enough money to support myself until I find a new one. Commission requests are open up immediately as of now, my VGen link will be in my bio/pinned, or you can DM me your request. I'll respond and review requests, but won't start on anything until June 1st, after my last day at work, and to give myself a week from now to recover. I'm in the midst of setting up a Ko-fi to help things out for myself too, which I'll post about once it's done. I will try my best to work on things while I get my footing back. I would've recorded a video for something like this but everything went so horribly so suddenly. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I care enough to do anything. I'm just tired. Sorry to anyone I've ghosted in the last few months but I hope this has provided some update on where I've been. Thanks to everyone that bothered to read this. - Nixx

Adam works full time as an express courier. He makes just enough to afford his essentials and a hotel apartment in wherever he happens to be by evening. This is the only line of work that would succeed in keeping him happy, as he gets to travel and explore freely.
