Besides all the other objections to his racist stance his position lacks internal logic.
If paying council tax entitles you to vote in local elections, paying income tax should allow you to vote in national elections.
If not paying either tax excludes you from voting, many Brits will be excluded.

Taking pledge 5: it may be unreasonable to expect it to have been achieved, but half-hearted rail measures (leaving much in private hands and no sign of going further) performative Great British Energy (and and no sign of public ownership) and zero progress on water, don't bode well.

A few years ago, at Christie's in New York, the hand-written manuscript (is that tautology?) with all the marginal notes and alterations came up for auction. My daughter works for Christie's in London, but I asked her if she could get me a copy of the catalogue. She did: signed by the man himself.

I believe that when it was released it was the longest single ever, and held that record until Don Maclean's American Pie.
