Indie comics ain't easy. Working very hard to make something as well as you possibly can that you know only a few people outside of yourself care about can be quite lonely, and often feels almost like a folly.

Thank u friend!! It was hard to get started but I approached it gently at first like: what would comfort me to draw? What can I draw w my eyes closed? So I picked Claire from Empyrean! Maybe start w something that sparks joy that you can draw easily?

Like, I didn’t draw for a month and today I sat and drew four spreads in my sketchbook. I was worried about regression but it turns out my excitement came back a bit, which was a pleasant surprise
