Apparently my daughter’s purposefully AI generated outline is not AI generated according to turnitin but my test sample to that same program of Brian Lumley’s first chapter of The Source written decades ago is almost wholly AI generated. I don’t think AI knows what it’s doing…

From my wip: The injured man turned the forearm slightly. The unnamed man’s elbow reached the limit of its joint and passed it. The dislocation occurred without flourish. The sensation was sharp and clinical: a failure of alignment, a new slackness, a pain that did not require interpretation.

I walked with the gods like burdens on my back.
They did not guide me; they watched.
Love burned, prayer failed, the earth stayed mute.
At night I laid down my name and kept only the law of hunger
to stand upright before nothing.

Don’t break their heart,
They have only one of them.
Break their bones instead.
They have over 200.

I just read this out loud in Werner Herzog’s voice. Now you’re doing it too.
