To me, this isn’t a political issue. It’s human rights. As in, I believe in them and clearly many people don’t.

I was having a fairly good day. Went to a comic con. Hung out with friends. And then the last cousin I still talk with went no contact because by reposting an admittedly dark humored meme about ICE, -I’m- the one promoting hate. It’s going to get worse before it gets better.

2/2 I should add that I went through 2 of his experiences. A marketplace in Syria where terrorists exploded a bomb (which I think was uploaded to Steam) and a border incident south of San Diego in which a migrant was beaten and killed. Both were devastating.

ICE is now responsible for 66% of the homicides in Minneapolis this year.

The right does not know the meaning of the word hypocrisy. Nor of the Constitution.

I met the man who created Call of Duty, about 12 years ago. He regretted it, and as penance was taking audio and video of traumatic incidents and turning them into VR experiences so a viewer could feel the emotional pain. I think of him a lot right now.

And I’m not happy about this shift in my attitude. Those bastards have lessened all of us.

My whole life I’ve been against the death penalty. Coproduced a theatrical production of Dead Man Walking. Spent time with Sister Helen. I want arrests of those complicit. I want public trials. And if there’s a death penalty, so be it.

I’m not going to share the video, but I just watched it and ruined my Saturday. This isn’t “another shooting.” This was another murder. Fuck ICE.

I loved it because it’s so deeply personal while being ridiculously entertaining. And oh, yeah, the Batman lore goes deep.

Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

That is a perfect description (and question).

I’ve considered him our Dickens since college, when I got really into Dickens and saw the parallels in observation and sharpness in characterization. For three decades I was laughed at by people when I said it.
