Today I met up with two of my former PhD students (one of whom brought his own PhD students, my grand-students!) at a workshop run by my former undergraduate project student. Enjoying my "old man" status.

Back from NeuMat kickoff: network in neuromorphic materials and devices for future AI hardware at stunning Trinity. As someone bridging software and digital accelerator design for ML, interesting to hear from materials and devices people. There is a lot we can do together!

It was great to see all the staff of @imperialeee.bsky.social so engaged with common purpose. And my father-in-law will be extremely jealous when I show him photos from the venue!

Happy PAW! Lots going on this week, at university and department level. Tomorrow, I will be participating in a "Fireside Chat" on "Your Postdoc Journey at @imperialcollegeldn.bsky.social", together with Walmsley, Elvidge and Stallwood, as well as the @imperialecri.bsky.social awards and celebration!
