Ahead of welcoming international PhD students next week, I counted the number of nationalities of PhD students I've graduated: UK, Iranian, Chinese, US, Malaysian, Russian, Italian, German, Pakistani, Spanish, Tunisian, Thai, Portuguese, Singaporean, Irish. A privilege to have learnt from them all!

I think neurotypes (though changeable and socially constructed) are useful because of "clustering" in the high-dim space corresponding brain/mind/body. Simply put: there are commonalities that can be useful. Also: recommend reading @dr-nicky.bsky.social 's and @drrobertchapman.bsky.social 's books.
