I’m in NY, but I have two kids on the left coast (Palo Alto and Portland), so I pay a lot of attention to the Cascadia subduction zone. I’ve read the New Yorker article (“The Really Big One”) several times and will read “Cascadia’s Fault” next. Oy vey.

If they use anyone’s power and poison anyone’s water, that’s not OK.

Neither construction creates many jobs.

So far they’re not constructing, as far as I know — just buying old warehouses. They’re planning to store humans in them.

There’s no one to appeal to. The Supreme Court is the end of the road. But he’ll probably take some other illegal action to get the same result. He DGAS.

I’m not aware of such a tort. I would see a problem with standing, but I’m not familiar with this area of law.
