All the aforementioned politicians have a distinct history of insensitivity. There seems to be only one clear option for Australians to pursue in the upcoming election, and it is the colour red. (5/5)

Opposition Leader Sussan Ley erupted in response with: “When did we ever say anything that was racist… You’re the one partnering with the fucking Teals!” Whether this is calling the Teals racist, Ley has been denounced by Indigenous academics for comparing the First Fleet to a Mars expedition. Both McKenzie and Hansen have voted to loosen the Racial Discrimination Act. It seems they are the same degree of racist. Responding to these comments, Hanson called the Liberals ill-informed and “lacking self-awareness.” Cheek Media reminds readers of Hanson’s infamous burka stunt. (3/5)

In March, the race discrimination commissioner Giridharan Sivaraman called out Taylor for using racist rhetoric and dehumanising migrants. Senator Bridget McKenzie said “There’s degrees of racism, she’s a little bit too bad,” when referring to One Nation leader Hanson. (2/5)
