What are you listening to/watching these days? I've been bingeing on IMO with #MichelleObama and #CraigRobinson and What Now with #TrevorNoah. There are so many interesting conversations, so many thoughts unfolding, and so much to explore via their guests. Also, the ads! Minting money, these shows.

Sad to read of #VirginiaGiuffre's passing. So many thoughts, so many points of rage, so many ways society and the justice system failed her and continues to fail others who speak up against violence they have experienced, especially at the hands of powerful people.

Women & girls are still getting killed by intimate partners, redpill + incel spiel is exploding and influencing how young men engage online/offline. There is still a fundamental problem with consent and accepting no's. We haven't corrected anything, let alone an overcorrection.

I saw something about men not approaching women as much as they used to because of an "overcorrection" due to the Me Too movement, and it is such a problematic take that I can't capture all my thoughts in tweets.

I cannot overstate the importance of reading books, particularly novels by respected authors, for critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. If the big gun novelists don't interest you, start small and work your way up. Or read whatever interests you. Just read. Or listen. It's all books.

I'm tired. I've had a great week with lots of productive meetings and strategies to further TechHer's work, turned down an incredible opportunity because the timing would have been stressful, solidified plans for various activities, and played wife, daughter, and community member. I am exhausted.

I had four different dreams last night, all full of activities that required extensive physical exertion. I think I was fighting in one of the dreams, so it's no wonder I woke up exhausted this morning. All of this in 6 or 7 hours of shuteye.

We have launched KURAM (kuramng.org), our record and response platform for incidents of OGBV, and utilised homegrown toolkits to train thousands of students across Nigeria. Working with local and international partners & law enforcement in Nigeria, we have effected takedowns of criminal content.
