None of us are in Taylor's brain, we're all operating in theoretical space, & even if someone wasn't a romantic muse doesnt mean they werent a muse in another sense.

My approach to theorycrafting has always been not to find one true theory but instead to see: what if all the theories could be true?

Muses don't have to be romantic. Friends, family, mentors, inspirations, fans, colleagues & more.

Sometimes 2 artists dated. Sometimes they used their art to have conversations about norms and taboos of the day. Sometimes they have a ghost story contest with their pals & Frankenstein's born.

Whilst I don't do much muse analysis bc I focus primarily on Taylor as her Own Muse, I also think many things can be true at the same time.

The artist, muse, and audience are all important. Without all 3 no art happens. But the narrator isn't reliable. Which means we can never get it right, 100%

I wish that the discussion about muse vs museless could just be kinder. Not everyone agrees and thats fine. None of us know anything for fact. But harsh things are said that put down the people who do make muse focused content. Why do we need to do that? Can't we just critique with nice words?

Also... these rehearsals are usually to line up cameras to the choreo which is why this was recorded in the first place. Somewhere between rehearsal and live they went from having her lips in frame to having a side view. Possible lyrics to thwart lip readers or to make the pointing more obvious

Also the itchy ears and feet are perimenopause too. And brain fog. And dry eyes. And becoming more sensitive to polyester or to restrictive clothing. And new food sensitivities esp if you have MCAS. And Perimenopause starts earlier than you think (mid-late 30s) & can come sooner if youre stressed.

No one talks enough about the neck stiffness and spasms that hit during perimenopause due to fluctuating hormone levels
