I find it hard to imagine that Taylor is bothered by speculation. Certainly not after the docuseries where the first episode had a Gaylor poster and a rainbow love wins sign. And she leans into almost every sign and symbol that we identify and uses them multiple times.

I got very into queer old Hollywood when I was in my 20s and 30s and hiding. Realizing that a LOT of my fave people in media were queer and concealed it for work really helped me cope something that was hell.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how Reputation and Lover are the only albums where Taylor doesnt use the word wish. Which... is one of her favorite words to use, and appears in at LEAST 2 songs on every one of her other albums.

Im glad she seems to love her Corporate job in Nashville and I hope there is still a demand dor her services even with everything else going on. Her current gig sounded really important to diversity efforts overall. But right now that does put a bullseye on you.

There's so much going on w/ track numbering & I wish she'd talk about it more. I for sure think her recent albums are designed to be listened to both forwards and backwards, and that with TTPD that gives us our 2nd track 5: Cassandra. But i also think all odds & all evens might mean something, etc.

Gasoline is interesting to me, because so many other NRs have a song called the Gasoline & i think that's on purpose so people might find the other songs with the same name. Drive is interesting because I always think of Chely's song Shut Up and Drive.
