Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

The goal is to keep us silent.

Make talking about slavery taboo, so it can be repeated.

Make condemning hate speech an attack on their idol.

Make people afraid to speak, even rich powerful white men, and you control what gets covered.

For decades, vaccines have been proven to prevent serious illness, hospitalization and death. Countless lives have and will be saved

Legislators worry about future of UConn's Avery Point campus State legislators from the region are worried that without additional investment, Avery Point will "wither on the vine" — and could even potentially close or be sold.

Our region deserves more. As I shared in this article from The Day, the lack of investment in UConn Avery Point is a disservice to our community and our economy.
