A black cat and a tortoiseshell cat are squeezed together on top of some cat furniture. Because the bowl they're in is fuzzy and black, it's unclear where the black cat's body ends and the structure begins.

A floral pattern is printed on off-white fabric. Around some of the circles is bright blue stitching. The needle is in view off to the side, indicating the work is still in progress.

Random bright spot for the week - caught the cats being extra adorable and I'm teaching myself embroidery (I've done cross stitch most of my life, but never anything else). I'm specifically learning stitches used in the Bayeux Tapestry; the ones here are stem stitch. Then I'll fill it with couching.
