Ohoho, I'm heading to Portland next week for my first convention of the year! On the one hand, I do like to hibernate in my art cave for the winter; on the other hand, Portland is a very short drive away. I always have a good time, raiding their bookstores and food trucks if nothing else!

I hate moving, my body is letting me know just how old I am. This is when you realize you have to much crap. Time to seriously downsize. Although the oldest says I have too much wool and art supplies. Can there ever be too much?

The Qanik hoodie. Pattern is a Linka Neumann from her Wilderness Knits. This is my first steek and first time using Alafosslopi. Bit like knitting with straw :) I’d forgotten how quick it can be using a 10 needle and bulky. I usually use 4 and fingering sport weight.

Just add “on Zoom” after every fortune…
