PM der GdP bebildert mit einem blutenden Polizisten.
GdP Sachsen nutzt KI generierte Bilder für eigene Narrative (Bild via @boschpolforsch.bsky.social). Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich solche Bilder von seriösen Stellen sehe, die Ereignisse so darstellen, dass sie besser ins eigene Bild passen. Das ist nicht gut, der DGB darf hier nicht schweigen!

Finally, @bjoernhommel.bsky.social's and my paper introducing the SurveyBot3000 is officially out in AMPPS. It's a fine-tuned language model that guesstimates correlations between survey items from text alone. Not perfectly, but useful for search, for example.

✏️ New Paper: Prejudice towards (Black/Muslim) refugees predicts fear of crime more strongly than vice versa.
Recent debates about increasing deportation are therefore likely to increase fear of crime, not lower it.
