😂 True. And a paradox if there ever was one.
31.10.2025 02:16 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Well, I will say that I love the premise. I should also say that, as you know, trout are an indicator species and the warm water fishes making their way upstream in a cold water system is well, touchy.
31.10.2025 01:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It’s true. Most of us (fly fishers) need to calm the fuck down. I mean, carp are the new tarpon. Make no mistake; bluegill are a blast.
30.10.2025 20:58 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0😂 I’m no Mamdani apologist. I don’t need to be. But Jesus, if you wanna’ talk about being the sucker for an epic liar’s pitch, I’m sure you have a mirror. Answer me this, Beefy. Aside from “owning the libs” what’s that golden-spooned, pedophile conman ever done for you? Right. Not a goddamned thing.
30.10.2025 20:53 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don’t want that unenlightened bumpkin anywhere near a trout stream. Send him to NASCAR or some shit.
29.10.2025 17:39 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Clearly, they don’t want to tip their hand to the fact that the Supreme Court has already laid plans that after lower and appellate court rulings on the question, that the “non-consecutive terms” argument leaves the door wide open. And yes, I understand the language as written in the 22nd Amendment.

20.10.2025 14:04 — 👍 8 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0Thanks, Marv. Most of this old rig is still original, and those caps are increasingly hard to replace. I feel lucky to have ‘em!

18.10.2025 15:38 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’m with you on reels for trout setups. Line-holders, for the most part. Now for saltwater or big game freshwater species, I’d argue on behalf of buying the best reel you can afford.
18.10.2025 14:58 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It’s an unsexy purchase, but you’re absolutely correct. It’s the difference-maker.
18.10.2025 14:56 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Absolutely! Redington is an excellent value and that combo punches above its weight. Well done.
18.10.2025 14:55 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’m curious about your thoughts, #flyfishing friends. I believe that a fly line, properly balanced for the rod, is the most important single expense in any setup. If you splurge anywhere, to me, that’s the spot.
Do you agree? I’d love to hear from you.
A $200 rod today is so much better today than it used to be and the Freshwater is a solid combo at that price. For trout fishing, I always suggest buying the very best line you can. Same case here. Have fun out there!

13.10.2025 03:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There’s no audition necessary. Sit back and enjoy the experience. Grab a rod or two, throw on the waders, call those B-run fish in. Then, wait. And just leave the cooking to me. 😉
