Adding on…In today’s parlance, Lincoln = Obama. They stood for an inclusive US. Opportunity and access for everyone.
We need leadership, unequivocal leadership, someone that is willing to be equal to the formal and not afraid to confront the consequences.

It has always been so ironic to me,when the “republication party” rallies around President Lincoln and his affiliation.
They have no appreciation, not understanding toward this President’s sacrifice and accomplishment. Frankly, neither does the Democratic Party.

Perhaps Jake Tapper should be called into action and write a book detailing the President’s health issues being hidden from the media.

What I would not give to have Warren and @mcuban.bsky.social perform a series of midwestern roadshows and just speak frankly about the economic reality and how this all really works. Regardless of the administration, it seems these conversations are kept “behind the curtain”.

This strikes me as similar to the miscalculation that the COVID pandemic would adversely impact “blue states” v. Red states. Given earlier the comments from RFK Jr., I believe they think certain races, ethnicities and classes are more susceptible to disease, illness, etc. Pathetic and disgusting.

Never understood this backlash, especially when DJT and others in the GOP had suggested the same.
It seems their belief is “gamesmanship” or “tradition” when it comes to being a President. Well, DJT tipped his hand here, as well, peaceful transfer?Or, on the golf course, where he cheats his ass off

Mississippi Burning and they are rooting for the clan…How did we get here? My family and I are finding ourselves getting angry, daily, hourly…there is no catharsis watching the conventional news (albeit, we typically watch msnbc). Regardless, we need to protect democracy and the constitution.
