I have been upset at that omission the entire time. Like when the extended cut of two towers came out and we see saruman die I knew then we weren't gonna get it. It really took the wind out of my sails

Same thing with gaming. People say it all the time that there are no good games and what they mean is there aren't any other options among the very narrow definition of good that they had. And even then they're really just not looking hard enough.
