There will be a press conference at 2 PM today on the State House steps to address the SCOTUS decision to deny Planned Parenthood any Medicaid funding. Show up and show support for an organization that for many is their only source of medical care.

You are correct. Faced with bills like H.3457 doctors, usually on advice of hospital attorneys, routinely delay treatment for cases that are leading directly to life-threatening sepsis until the condition has advanced. This leads to pregnant girls and women dying.

There is only one entity working on voter registration that has led to problems for voters. That is the SC Dept. of Motor Vehicles, which for years has used an algorithm that incorrectly rejected applications from young people age 17 even though they would be 18 at the time of the election.

The House Constitutional Laws subcommittee heard testimony on H.3459, a bill to require Election Commission registration of 3rd party groups assisting voters in registering, but didn't get to a vote. Let your House members know that there is no risk to election integrity from these groups. Vote NO.
