What matters most about your interests is that they make your autistic self happy.

Whether other people find them productive is irrelevant.

You don't have to produce anything.

You're not a machine.

Some may like, others may not.

Your interests are for you.

Do what makes you happy.

It's unfortunate how often the solution to a problem is just talking to people. Autistic me thinks it could be something easier like making a comprehensive list or a chart, or reading everything you can find on the subject, but no, so often you can do all that and you still have to talk to people.

I agree. I have some on my mp3 player.

Being autistic means not much else hits as hard as repeating a chorus to a song over and over and over again.
