Being autistic is spotting things others may miss.
You don't understand what the hell is that person even meaning. What you do know is that vibe is completely off, you can just tell that person ain't good. Don't ask how I know this. You won't be able to explain how you know this.

To expand further on what I was saying earlier, seems to me so many get left in the dark when it comes to autism in adulthood because you're an adult.
It's absolutely ridiculous when you think about it. It's the view of you're an adult so you can do these things now yourself, without any help.

If you can make accommodations for autistic children then you can make them for autistic adults aswell.
I'm puzzled as to why this is so difficult.

Being autistic is lost count how many times in your life that someone says to you that youβre not autistic because you donβt look a certain way and I know someone that is.
Well that clears that up then.

I feel like I need so much more down time compared to most people.
I wonder if its just autistic fatigue catching up after days of maintaining everything, or if its like power saving mode, where you have the energy but the body and the mind doesn't let you use it for one reason or another.

What matters most about your interests is that they make your autistic self happy.
Whether other people find them productive is irrelevant.
You don't have to produce anything.
You're not a machine.
Some may like, others may not.
Your interests are for you.
Do what makes you happy.

It's unfortunate how often the solution to a problem is just talking to people. Autistic me thinks it could be something easier like making a comprehensive list or a chart, or reading everything you can find on the subject, but no, so often you can do all that and you still have to talk to people.

It's about time when normalise autistic stimming to be honest.
You know.. where you can freely stim. Especially in public (long as it's safe of course) without someone just staring at you like you have done something wrong.

Just because someone likes something it doesn't mean someone else will.
You don't even have to be autistic.
Don't assume someone will like something because someone else you know does.
You don't even have to know someone else.
I shouldn't have to repeat this.
