And when it passes
Each one it passes goes "aaaaaugh!"

that doesn't mean you must *add* a boulder to your land in order to build a beautiful house
a) Many artists manage to transform their personal suffering into something else when they make art
b) Suffering is not required to make art, and many artists who suffered greatly would have made more art if they had suffered less
there is nothing contradictory, here
Thinkin' of that Teller quote, "Sometimes magic is just someone spending more time on something than anyone else might reasonably expect"
Some part of "years of practice," I think, is just the slow, constant re-realization that the work will improve even more when given even more time and attention
breaking bread together may make enemies into neighbors; but breaking babies together makes comrades

Still missing some of the internal logic of the leaves, but progress!
Inspiration and motivation *start* projects, but you can't expect to keep the fire that hot for the duration of a large work. Long work gets done by habit; banked coals last through the night. Do you motivate and inspire yourself to brush your teeth or make coffee, or are they just part of your day?
