Personally between the two I'd vote for the 77 year old woman who has experience and no track record of being a Nazi sympathizer or a homophobe. We don't need Fetterman 2.0 (1.0 is turning out to be bad enough). But I don't live in Maine, so it's not my decision to make.

You don't have to act like you're MAGA (unless you are) to attract independent voters, or the handful of remaining moderate Republicans who might cross over. You just need to be authentic & convince people you're actually going to improve their daily lives.

A younger challenger would be great, but Graham Platner's integrity is in question after the whole "I didn't know it was a Nazi symbol" tattoo debacle, not to mention the homophobic jokes & slurs on Reddit (which he admitted were his). He's Maine's Fetterman. Dems can do better!

They might also want to pay attention to the increase in measles cases in Utah & Arizona, which could negatively impact the children they do have, especially in rural areas populated by more fundamentalist LDS members.

Yeah, that 1st group of White Afrikaner refugees really looked like they had survived truly heckish conditions in the SOUTH of Africa. Seemed like they'd fit right in with most MAGAts here in the rural US, so no question about assimilation. Their history of racism will find a kindred spirit here.

And how does JD feel about Indian immigrants taking away academic jobs at US universities that could have been filled by White American citizens? They may have also occasionally spoken another language at home, cooked "weird" food & prayed to Hindu gods. I'm just asking on behalf of his in-laws.

It was actually pretty easy to hunt J6ers, no witchery required. As I recall, there was a whole mob of them gathered at tRump's behest, busy storming the Capitol, breaking & entering, beating up police & threatening the VP & other politicians inside the building.

Virginia & New Jersey governors races, as well as some other state offices, many local elections, & the CA ballot measure on redistricting.

Court rulings (well, except SCOTUS), protests, voting & maybe general strikes or other economic measures are about the only non-violent actions we can take.

And why isn't Jakey asking any questions about tRump's deteriorating mental state? He's apparently an "expert" in this field.

Of course they did. Friday is Right White Date Night! They'll be going out to dinner with margaritas at their favorite Mexican restaurant, followed by salsa dancing lessons.

Curious where you went besides the Biltmore Estate? Overall maybe 5% of Asheville still reflects storm damage, the 2 main areas being the lower River Arts District & parts of Biltmore Village. Most of AVL is fully back to normal. It hurts local businesses that depend on tourism by saying otherwise.

Dude just needs a good pair of jackboots to go with the coat.
