On the other side of the coin, the amount of times I've tried to calmly explain how I feel, only for them to either freak out, act flippantly or just ignore me...yeah, I can see why it's hard to "confront" people. But in these cases, I don't just write them off or block them, I mind my business.

The amount of friend groups I've seen that've been split because someone heard one thing about a guy from a friend and decided to block or avoid them is kinda nuts. It's way too easy to write people off these days. People need to rely on their own judgement and understand that we're all just people.

Maybe it's an extension of "self care", which is not inherently a bad thing, you can indeed control your environment and should look after yourself first. But I feel like we're losing basic empathy here, and it's creating a lot of drama where it's not needed.

There seems to be a growing culture of complete intolerance for others, where it's a one-strike-you're-out deal with no efforts to teach. Someone said something that put you off? Ghost them at every opportunity, maybe even block them immediately, do not talk to them about it...I don't understand it.

I've had to clarify a few times but everything is fine with me lmao

These are just devices I'm no longer using because I upgraded/sidegraded to something else. Cleaning house and paying bills.
