The attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, vile, and reprehensible.

In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form.

Condemning another absolutely disgraceful act of gun violence. My thoughts & prayers are w/ Charlie Kirk & his family in this terrible moment & we are all grateful for first responders who immediately jumped into action.

We must categorically reject all violence in our society.

The attack on Charlie Kirk is horrifying.

Political violence has no place in this country and should never become the norm.

I’m sending my sympathies to his family and friends at this time.

This is not how we do shit.
In our nation, we have the freedom of speech, regardless of how vile and reprehensible that speech can be sometimes. In a just and civil world, we win our battles by ideals and through winning people's hearts and minds, not by violence. This shit must stop.

Horrific to hear that Charlie Kirk was shot today in Utah. Political violence must be always and totally rejected. Praying for him and all who may have been injured or impacted.

Given how much a sunrise played in issue #20, it's only fitting that @danielwarrenart.bsky.social ended his amazing two-year run with a sunset in Transformers #24.

For all the shittiness going on in the world, even though it's a piece of fiction, the overall message of holding on to hope, be it your family, friends, or just a better tomorrow - has been a predominant theme in this series, and man, do we need that message now.

Solid ending

What a great run these last two years have been. Thank you, @danielwarrenart.bsky.social as well as Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer for making the @skybound.bsky.social Transformers series "appointment reading." It's been a great two-year run.

This only comes around once in a century: Happy 90125 day.

Interesting fact: both @skybound.bsky.social and Marvel's Gen-1 Transformers had the iconic "Optimus Prime vs. Megatron" showdown. I have no idea what's ahead when the issue drops in 9 days, but please don't have it end like this:

I have faith in Kirkman, but yeah... no pressure.
This run has already won an Eisner (justifiably), and I wouldn't be surprised if this latest arc wins Daniel Warren Johnson another one.
