I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking.

I have no opinion on what should happen LEGALLY to someone who steals someone's work, I'm just saying that I think it makes you a fraud and a loser.

But I do think, broadly, that if you steal a character design from another artist and then put it into your game, you're a fraud and a loser.

Well i wanted to write about the responses to "what is magic the gathering to an outsider look like" but i wrote a lot about the first thing so i guess it'll be a series of blog posts over on my tumblr.

If they hadn't done the fence and sign and had just contributed some picnic tables and tents it would've been a nice upgrade that I'd actually go to bat for. It's nice to have a few more options of places to sit rather than us always needing to find a spot on the grass.

Obviously a bunch of the game is about decoration and customization but for me it's really more about seeing which Pokemon will pop out of the grass and reading their funny intro dialogue.

If I were to see a Youtube compilation I think it'd ruin my interest in the game lmao.

I don't know what the word for it is but Pokopia is the type of video game where the discovery of little things like animations and dialogue quips is like half the appeal.

It reminds me of point-and-clicks where you live for the little gags or bad endings, or a game like Flock or Stanley Parable.

Yup! From what I know some Gen 2 Pokemon were already in stages of character design before Gen 1 came out. I think that's part of why they feel a bit cohesive.

I know for me a big part of it is that I like to play fast and loose. I don't like to "math out" what will actually happen each turn, I just like slamming cards down based on instinct lmfao.

I refuse to spend more than 30 seconds on a turn in a deckbuilder. Which is probably my demise.
