What a shocker. Agriculture minister who’s also a livestock farmer thinks livestock farmers should be free to continue to pour shit into our waterways with impunity, all the while pocketing taxpayer subsidies. This is his “ambition”.

What a country we live in.

Consensus view is there’s now an evens chance of AMOC shutdown sometime this century. That’s a *big* risk to be riding on a coin-toss.

Try explaining that to the oceanographers and climatologists who are absolutely horrified at the chaos an AMOC collapse would unleash. But perhaps you know something they’ve missed?

It presumably helps distract from O’Brien killing off the Dart-Plus project of actual new rail infrastructure.
