See I don't know. I think if he pulls on a Joker at all, I think it's more likely that he'd go with Hamill's from the Arkham games. I don't think the Leto Joker would have the cultural impact.

I imagine they just remembered what a logistical nightmare round robins can be and have gone back to single elim for the foreseeable future, but if DG were to alternate the King of Gate format year-to-year then I dunno, I think that'd be neat.

Think it, Shun-Doi and Kzy-Jason have all been really strong in different ways, so it's hard to compare them but Kage-Kamei definitely stood out most for me. Just not the kind of match DG gets to do super often, especially as a homecoming for Jacky and a rare singles main for both guys.

Yeah, I think it's gonna be Kamei beating Susumu, mostly because I don't know if they would do Kamei-Benk. If it was any other matchup in the next round I'd be going with Ben-K to go through though.

Absolutely adored Kamei-Kagetora. Kagetora working Mean is always a delight, and the finishing stretch was excellent. We're looking good for a Kamei-ISHIN quarter final at this rate, which would be very sick indeed.

One of the best things about Shinbashi Jiro's gimmick is knowing that at some point he's going to end up putting his salaryman job on the line in a match and lose, and seeing how DG plays that is gonna be so silly.

Fuda-Cucuy was cute. Sad that Fuda's gone out but I'd rather his next ISHIN singles match happen on a livestreamed show with some build and not just mid-tournament on tape delay. ISHIN will have so much fun with El Cucuy though.
