In observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, all County administrative offices will be closed on Dec. 25, 2025, and Jan. 1, 2026. The following facilities are also reporting changes:

Ferguson has a $1 billion plan for WA ferries The plan comes at a perilous time for the ferry system and as state finances are strained. Still, Ferguson says, the state has the resources for this investment.

As long as I’m governor, investments in ferries will continue to be a high priority.

This is 24 hour sheltering - not the overnight Severe Weather Shelter program. This training is designe to equip local volunteers with the essential knowledge needed to activate a disaster shelter.
