I love the diversity of neighborhoods in and around big cities.

We spent the weekend roaming the streets of NYC, where we walked alongside people of every background, heard multitudes of languages, and went by restaurants serving every conceivable cuisine. It all felt so much more American than the homogenous parts of the country called Real America.
