I'm writing a story with a MMF polyship set in a 1950s small southwest town in the U.S. There's gonna be an age gap and cowboys involved. They're all gonna fall in love with one another. And it's NOT going to end tragically. But I've not written like this in so long I'm afraid it's gonna be so bad 😩

The older I get, the more I distance myself from fandom spaces. The purity policing, the arguing over canon and arguing over simple opinions is so exhausting. It's odd how much people need their opinions reinforced versus just having fun 😭
