Goals

Honestly a highlight of my week. I get excited to revisit old favourites and discover new movies I haven’t seen yet along with the excellent discussion.

When you were a kid, did you ever meet another kid who was clearly out of their mind, and incredibly troubled and destructive, who made you really uncomfortable to be around, and you just hoped that they would grow up to… Not be like that?

And then they grew up to be even worse?

I thought I was done with GoT after the main show. House of the Dragon never hooked me. But A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is great. Some of the best character work on tv and the scale feels like an island in something huge without ever feeling too small.
It’s also oddly sweet and hopeful for GoT.

I have no idea what Coogler’s X-Files will be, but I trust Coogler, Danielle Deadwyler is great and I am always here for anything remotely in the x-files vicinity, whoever is in it and behind it. I’m excited!

What a treat! I’m going to be recommending this to everyone.

I put off listening to the episode of Hammertime on Taste of Fear, because it’s one I’d never seen, but on faith, ordered the Blu-ray.
And oh my goodness, what a bloody incredible film that is.
I can’t believe this ever slipped me by.

JK Rowling, who claims everything heinous that she that she says and does is in the interest and protection of women and girls, sure does go to great lengths to cheerlead and support the very real predators and abusers of women and girls.

Gaiman taking the Joss Whedon method of taking zero accountability is no surprise, but the absolute denial and "they're all lying" is more the Donald Trump approach than I expected, and he's frankly ten times the slimeball than I imagined for trying this tactic so far down the line.
