Great but who of our supposed leaders even have the backbone to do it, because if they did, it would already be done. Apparently the concept is not new and would/should already be known to them.

Saying neutered assumes that they had b*lls to begin with. None of this need be happening. They had 10 years to avoid this and did nothing of any substance. Our leaders failed and continue to fail us. When are they going to truly take this serious and do more than wring their hands/hide/photo ops?

Neuromacer by William Gibson. It's a masterpiece of cyberpunk from the 1980s that, unfortunately, has largely come true.

The Sprawl Trilogy by William Gibson @greatdismal.bsky.social So much of Neuromacer has sadly come to pass. Not enough praise can be said about these classics and of the poetic prose of their author.

The Captain Is Dead is a fun game that's easy to learn. It drops you right in the middle of a bad situation and doesn't let up.

I enjoy playing 1st edition Car Wars. This is my set from the 1980s that I still use.
