Note: I've read that dogs yawn when they're stressed, tho' in my lifetime, all my dogs have stretched their cheek muscles w/ jaws extra wide when they're especially excited, getting lots of attention, etc.

It's hard to explain to people who don't experience this themselves: individuals can and do experience time differently from how others experience it. Circadian rhythms are not the same for everyone. Some changes that may appear nonsensical to you can be notably beneficial to others.
