muzzled animal fleeing from an enigmatic terror. I feel bad having to do this again, but I need some help. A couple days ago I fled home. I have been dealing with a very difficult living situation due to my parents being emotionally abusive. This Sunday was a breaking point for me and I couldn’t take it anymore. The next day, I discretely packed my bags and computer, and left. I am currently staying at a friend’s house. They have a spare room and I’ve been allowed to temporarily crash at their place for the time being. I have a roof over my head, and for the first time in a while now, I feel physically and emotionally safe. Despite this, I am not financially stable. And this is where, unfortunately, I still need help. Bills don’t stop just because I’m in a crisis. This has all been immensely scary. But I feel that this is going to be the first step for me to get back on my feet. As always, take care of yourself first. I’m glad you’re safe. I’ve been in a similar situation so I get where you’re coming from. It hurts to know that family can be abusive at times and you can’t do much about it. You’ve made the right decision to leave than wait for the cycle to repeat. It’s going to get better ❤️‍🩹.
