Been taking a smaller break lately due to a bunch of stuff going on at the same time but slowly on my way back to making videos and games.. and videos about the games :D

Finally starting to have a good idea where I want to go with my game project, that's been in a bit of a limbo lately. Honestly taking some time and not working on it and having a look at other games really has helped a lot. Always good to take a step back sometimes :D

Granted yes but I also think that each of those generations added a lot to how to better their predecessor, the switch 2 hardware feels more like a ”pro” version than a new gen in Nintendo standards at least 🙂

Somewhere I was hoping to get a completely new and cool console from Nintendo like they have done before, but the switch 2 looks nice at least and it’s nice that it’s backwards compatible.

Torn between using a modern aspect ratio or a limited 4:3 one for the retro feel. Any thoughts? I like the idea of actually using the entire screen though 😅 #gamedev #indiegamedev #retro #horrorgame #ps1
